Meet Melanie

Melanie and her family have been happy residents of Frisco since July of 2015. After being informed by her husbandโ€™s company that they were being transferred, it took Melanie one year to find the right Dallas suburb for her family. The single most important factor that set Frisco apart was the school district.

A native New Yorker, Melanie also has a diverse ethnic mix, has been married to her husband Eric for 34 years, and her family includes her daughter, Nicole 29, son-in-law Matthew 29, and son Chad 16. Chad has special needs which has really brought out the advocate in Melanie, not only for her son, but for the teachers, staff, and admin at every campus she has been at along with other children in mind that may follow in the path that has been paved. The Joneses have 2 fur babies and love to travel. Melanie is also a foster mom and volunteer for Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue.

Family is the most important thing to Melanie and she has never taken a vacation without her kids. She loves to cook, entertain and truly loves all people.

She is a member of many professional organizations and she advocates for her son as well as small business. She also believes in philanthropy and supports OUR Rescue, which has a mission to stop the sex trafficking of children and women worldwide.
